It’s not everyday we get to hear all the great achievements made by Africans both around the world and at home especially considering the fact that most women in this great continent of ours are treated like second class citizens, referred to as kitchen and bedroom champions and deprived of opportunities and resources readily available to men.
So you can imagine how great we feel when we hear news of African women stomping economic fences, closing gender gaps and breaking career boundaries in fields once dominated by their male counterparts. Yes! Women are now gradually and finally starting to make their mark in industries once dominated by men and although we still have a long long way to go, we at BLULOFT will make it our duty to celebrate each and every success we get wind of.
A great example here would be these fine women (and might we add sexy as billion dollars) who have broken pilot records to become the first in female pilots in their respective countries. This proves that regardless of limitations placed by a society, with hard work and determination you can reach heights once thought to be unattainable. These class of women definitely bring hope to the next generation of little girls who might be skeptical of pursuing their dreams.
Enjoy!
